Tint is built to keep you safe — and a few habits keep you safer still. Here’s how to look after yourself on and off the app.
Safety isn’t a feature on Tint — it’s the foundation. Profile verification, a strict no-nudity policy, proactive moderation and zero tolerance for abuse are all built in, so the community stays welcoming and real.
Verify your own profile to earn the gold check — it tells others you’re real. When you’re browsing, look for the check on profiles too, and be cautious with anyone who refuses to verify or video chat.
Watch for fast-moving romance, investment or crypto pitches, and pressure to take things private quickly. If you’re ever threatened with the release of private images (sextortion), don’t comply — report it to us and to your local authorities. You haven’t done anything wrong.
Consent is ongoing and can be withdrawn at any time — a “no” is final. Never share screenshots, photos or someone’s identity without permission, and never out anyone. Respecting privacy keeps our whole community safe.
You can block or report anyone in one tap from their profile or your chat. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report to us at support@tintdating.com.
Need help or want to report something serious? Email support@tintdating.com and our safety team will respond as quickly as we can.
Our safety team reads every message. Reach out any time.
